Ralph Augustine Obituary
Ralph Augustine, age 82, of Collinsville, died at 7:20 a.m., on Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, at his residence.
Visitation will be on Friday, Feb. 8, at 10 a.m. to noon, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Collinsville.
Funeral mass will be on Friday, Feb. 8, at noon, at the church, with Father John Beveridge officiating.
Memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers to the American Heart Association, the American Lung Association, or the American Diabetes Association.
Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville is in charge of arrangements.

Ralph has left an indelible legacy to everyone he met in his life, you couldn't help but love him. To Gerry, Debbie and the entire family, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I know that each day you will recall more memories and stories about your lives together - cherish them all and love one another - it will get easier. The love and support you all gave to one another over the days, months and years is amazing and a testament to your strength, Ralph was fortunate to have each and every one of you. We love you all.

Ralph was my first boss when I worked at the Motor Lodge when I was in college. I was the low man on the pole but he never treated me that way. He was always so kind. A great first boss to have! Thank you Ralph.

Resilient, Chrismatic, Wise, Strong, Loving, Firm, Persevering, Good and Honest. Thru my eyes you were everything a son would want in a father. I was always so proud to be with you. Your Acceptance, Your Unconditional Love and you never-ending Friendship meant more than you will ever know. You will always reside in a special part in my heart. I will see you in Heaven my friend. His passion for life showed in him in everything did, and he would never give up on anything!!
