Jeffrey Fath Obituary
WILKES-BARRE — Jeffrey J. Fath, 46, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018, after a brief illness at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.
Jeff was born in Wilkes-Barre on Nov. 6, 1971, to James M. and Elaine F. (Hoffner) Fath and resided in Pittston. He was a graduate of Pittston Area High School, Class of 1989, and King's College, Class of 1993.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Steve and Jimmy, of Pittston, and David and wife, Jennifer, of West Wyoming; niece Cara and a nephew, Stephen, of Avoca; and two nephews, Adam and David, of West Wyoming; aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, David and Frances Hoffner, and paternal grandparents, William and Grace Fath.
Jeff was a good son, a good brother, a good man, and a super uncle.
Jeff's family would like to thank the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff of Geisinger's MSICU for the loving care shown to him while a patient there, especially his nurse, Inna.
Private funeral arrangements are pending at the convenience of the family from the Paul F. Leonard Funeral Home, Pittston.

Jeff was an amazing person that I had the privilege of knowing and working closely together providing therapeutic services to individuals with special needs. Jeff had an unbelievable huge heart and would do anything for anyone! He was a wonderful soul that will be terribly missed! I worked with Jeff so sorry to hear of his passing. I remember how kind he was and that the students he worked with just loved him. He left a kind mark on everyone who knew him. Too young to be gone.
