WILKES-BARRE — Sheila A. Kittle, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 15, 2017, at the age of 57.
She was born April 25, 1959, a daughter of Bertha (Cragle) Kittle and the late Robert E. Kittle.
Sheila was a 1977 graduate of Lake-Lehman.
She lived in Lynchburg, Va., for many years, working at Liberty University. She relocated back to Pennsylvania where she was a constant companion and caretaker of her mother, Bertha, who suffers from Alzheimer's. Even through the fog of Alzheimer's, her mother knows and will deeply miss her daughter.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, Bertha Kittle, are sisters, Diane M. Hooker and husband, John, Karen L. Baltier and husband, Albert; brother, Kenneth J. Kittle and wife, Kristen; and nephew, Angelo Baltier.
Sheila is now rejoicing with her father, Robert; sister, Cheryl; and brother, Kerry.
Sheila's life will be celebrated at noon until 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017, at the Clarke Piatt Funeral Home Inc., 6 Sunset Lake Road, Hunlock Creek. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Interment will be in the Kittle Family Cemetery, Ross Township, Sweet Valley.

So very sorry for your loss, as I sit and look back my most vivid memory is Karen and Sheila rocking in Grandma Kittle's rocking chair in her kitchen. Oh how they loved to rock! May your memories give you comfort. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
