Al Frisby Obituary

Al James Frisby III, multi-talented musician, artist, mechanic, chef, photographer, ecologist, comedian, and Santa Cruz icon, passed away from illness on November 13, 2024, at Dominican Hospital. Al was born in Panama, grew up in New Orleans, and, in 1980, adopted Santa Cruz as his home. His passing was a tremendous loss to the Santa Cruz community and everyone who loved him. Al my heart is truly broken. I still can't believe you have gone to the great field of Wildflower 's.
I still cry ofter and catch myself saying Oh let me send this to Al and then overtaken with grief again. You'd be so proud of teaching herself how to play her guitar you gave her. We miss you so much.
I will always love and miss you brother.
