Debra Bertollini Obituary
She dedicated over 30 years as an award winning veteran bartender at the Red Room and Tampico Kitchen resonating across the room. She spent many hours dedicated to giving back to her own community. A music enthusiast, she supported many local talents, frequenting and creating live music entertainment. After the closure of Tampico's, she spent her time making jewelry, gardening, and enjoying her children and grandchildren while doing arts & crafts, going on walks, enjoying nature and the small things life has to offer. She was affectionate, nurturing, selfless, supportive and always ready to listen.
Our mom's passing was unexpected and we are absolutely devastated by her loss and the unfillable void she has left in our hearts. We find comfort and solace that she was surrounded by her family, whom she loved most in this world, until her final breath.
She was survived by her daughter Hannah (Garth) Watrous, son Erik (Melinda) Benaquisto, daughter Yauni (Chris) Micheels, daughter Jamaka Bertollini, grandchildren Gianna Bertollini, Kiki Kuamoo. Leilani Bertollini Alverez, Kelina Smith, Aryanna Benaquisto, Elijah Benaquisto, Hudson Watrous and great grandchild Milo Guiterrez.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024 at the Santa Cruz Yacht Club. Please email [email protected] for more info.
