DONALD CLANTON Obituary

DESOTO - Donald W. Clanton, 58, was born and grew up in Winters, Texas. He passed away Dec. 18, 2002. He was an accountant for Ward, Asel and Associates and was the chief financial officer from 1978-85 for the Angelo Community Hospital in San Angelo, Texas. He was the youngest of nine children and a precious husband, father and "Paw Paw." He is survived by his wife, Pam Clanton; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Jennifer Clanton of Sachse, Texas, Devin and Tammy Clanton of Sachse, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Deidra and Scott Enck of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Keegan Clanton, Jacob Clanton, Dylan Enck and Peyton Enck; sisters, Freda Kruse of Big Lake and Sue Stevens of Levelland; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Wanda and Bob Ward; and extended family, Mike, Sharon and Tanner Albert. Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, at the Skillman Church of Christ, 3014 Skillman, Dallas, TX 75206 with Mr. Dwight Robarts officiating. Graveside service and interment will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 23, in the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, Lane "A" in Dallas, Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested in his honor to the American Heart Association.
