JOSE ARISPE Obituary

STERLING CITY - Jose Arispe Jr., 54, of Grape Creek, passed away Friday, Nov. 28, 2008, in Midland. Jose was raised in Sterling City and lived in San Angelo. He was preceeded in death by his father, Jose Arispe Sr.; brother Daniel Arispe; grandson Jacob Arispe; and the mother of his children, Gloria Granado. He is survived by his mother, Juanita Arispe of Sterling City; his wife, Carmen Salazar; daughter Angela Garza; sons Jose Arispe Jr. III; Ricky Paul Arispe and Sammy Ray Arispe all of La Porte, Texas; stepsons Chris Tagel of San Angelo and Mercedes Valero of Midland; and 17 grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters Lina Gutierrez, Linda Arispe and Debra Garcia all of San Angelo, Mary Martinez of San Antonio, and Martha Longoria of Brownfield, Texas; brothers Elias and Juan Arispe both of Sterling City, Tony Arispe of Big Spring, and Jose Arispe of El Paso; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be Monday, Dec. 1, at the First Baptist Church in Sterling City with burial to follow at Sterling City Cemetary under the direction of Ross Funeral Home.
