MARILYN ROSE Obituary

SAN ANGELO - Marilyn Louise Rose, 78, formerly of San Angelo, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2006, in Gladstone, Ore., after a prolonged illness. She was born on Oct. 14, 1928, in Covington, La., and lived in San Angelo from 1967 until 2003. She touched and blessed the lives of so many family members and friends and was loved and appreciated by everyone privileged to have known her. The most common expression heard was, "She is the sweetest person I know!" She was preceded in death by husband, Earlie O. Rose Sr. in 2000; as well as her parents; and a brother and sister. She is survived by her brother, Conrad Wiegand; sisters Dotty Caywood and Yvonne Weaver, all of Louisiana; son Earlie Rose Jr. of Las Vegas; daughters Barbara Samms and Diane Rose of Gladstone, Ore.; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens in San Angelo with Lee Hatfield, associate pastor at San Angelo First Church of the Nazarene, officiating. The family would like to thank Everlasting Foster Care for their kindness and care given to her. Marilyn's obituary and memorial guest book may be viewed online at RobertMassie.com.

I'll always remember the joys we shared at the Retreat years ago and as almost family.

To Marilyn's family, I went to Church with her at the First Church Of The Nazerene back in the 80's and I remember her as being such a sweet, wonderful, caring, loving person. Know that you will be in my prayers and that she will be missed. God bless you, Betty Epperson Gann Anniston Alabama 256-405-1400
