NORMAN MULLENIX Obituary

SAN ANGELO - Norman E. Mullenix, 62, of San Angelo, Texas, and formerly of Panama City, Fla., died at 5:15 a.m. Friday, April 23, 2004, in San Angelo. He was born Nov. 4, 1941, in San Angelo, Texas. Survivors include two daughters, Stacy McGuire and husband, Brian, of San Angelo and Amy Mullenix of Panama City, Fla.; four grandchildren, Nichole, Kaitlyn, Sydney and Ayden McGuire; one brother, Jerry Mullenix and wife, Diana, of San Angelo; nieces, Danelle Mullenix and Tara Hart and husband, Billy, both of San Angelo; and two great-nieces and one great-nephew. Graveside funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Rowena with the Rev. Joe Bourgeois officiating. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Hospice of San Angelo and to Sherry Coplen and Stefanie Dye.

although i didn't know norman well, he and my older brother jack were french horn players in the bobcat band. jack thought a lot of norman and they were good friends thru high school. i have notified several other memebers of the band at that time of norman's passing and they are saddened by it.
