San Angelo
Virgil Jack Bleakley, 94, died Friday Virgil Jack Bleakley, 94, of San Angelo passed away on Friday, May 5, 2017 at his residence.
Memorial service is at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Emmanuel Episcopal Church under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Survivors include his daughter, Anne Shahan of San Angelo; and son, Mark Bleakley of Austin.

We offer our sincere condolences to Mark and Anne for the passing of their father. Jack Bleakley was a wonderful, sincere and serious man who helped many people from a quiet corner, without any need for recognition for his assistance. I know because I was one of the many that received he and his wife's (Marion Bleakley's) kind support and assistance. He never said a word of his help to others but I always was told of his help from others close to him. He used to tell me "John, start before and finish after everyone you work with...and out work them in between and you will be successful". His was good advice. I'm sure Jack Bleakley is in Heaven now back with his deceased wife who was one of the dearest, kindest, sweetest persons, Marion Bleakley. They WERE truly this Country's Greatest Generation. RIP

My father is grateful to known Mr Bleakley very strong nobleman with kindness heart and very friendly he will be truly be missed but, not forgotten among all he touched our hearts but, his legendry continues on at better place with Our Heavenly Father.
