Barbara E Woodward February 19, 1935 - March 20, 2023 Barbara Elaine (Kurtz) Woodward, age 88, passed away in Eldorado, Texas on March 20, 2023. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Oak Street Baptist Church in Graham, Texas at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Barbara was born on February 19, 1935, in Roswell, New Mexico to Laverne Kurtz and Viola (Snyder) Kurtz. She married Jerry Woodward on June 14, 1953, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on June 21, 2016. Her daughter, Terri Lynn Teaff preceded her in death on May 8, 2014. Also preceding her in death was her brother, Jerry; sisters Pauline and Alice; and parents Laverne and Viola Kurtz.

Barbara is survived by son Gary Woodward and wife Dana of Lakeside, Montana; daughter, Stephanie Lang and husband Brett of San Angelo, Texas; son-in-law Larry Teaff and wife Holley of Weatherford, Texas; and son, John Zant of Lafayette, Louisiana; along with 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Barbara's life was filled with family and friends. She never met a stranger and was always willing to help out wherever she was needed: at Church (no matter what town she lived in); at Woodward Lumber Company; all the late night 4-H projects that had to be completed; teaching Sunday School at St. Paul's Methodist Church in Las Cruces, New Mexico; many home Bible Studies and Prayer Groups; plus, all the traveling that she and Jerry did! She had a very exciting and faith-filled life, depending on her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to lead her through every hill and every valley, her faith constantly glowing...what an example she was!!

Visitation will be held at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel on Friday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
