Than McCracken Obituary
Than was born April 27, 1965 in Graham to the late Eugene Wesley and Carla (Green) McCracken. He graduated from Tarleton State University in 1988 and married Shawn Souther April 4, 1995 in Las Vegas. Than was a member of the Young County Masonic Lodge #485 where he was a former Grand Master, Rotary Club of Graham, and Graham Savings & Loan Board of Directors. He was owner of Guaranty Abstract and enjoyed hunting, ranching, and driving his mustangs with his granddaughter.
Survivors include: wife, Shawn McCracken of Graham; daughters, Macey McCracken-Hays and husband, Scout of Wichita Falls and Adria Allen Kachtik and husband, Drew of Potosi; son, Jeremy Allen of Olney; brother, Matt McCracken and wife, Tam Barker of Houston; sister, Marla Coleman and husband, Rusty of Caddo Mills; grandchild, Kenna Kachtik of Potosi; niece, Cate McCracken of Washington, D.C.; nephews, Ryan Coleman of Dallas and Cody Coleman of Caddo Mills.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 1 p.m. until service time at the First Baptist Church.
