Rosalee Shuler Obituary

Rosalee Shuler, 80 of the Lower Mountain Creek community of Robbinsville, N.C., passed away Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2023, at Harris Regional Hospital in Sylva, N,C.
She was a native of Graham County, and the daughter of the late Reo and Hazel Wilson Hooper.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Eugene Moody; her husband, Claude Shuler; and her granddaughter, Matison Lee Moody.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Felicia Moody, and Marty and Tammy Moody, all of Robbinsville, N.C.; stepson, Mark Shuler of Chattanooga, Tenn.; grandchildren, Miranda and Coy Buchanan, Mariah and Hamilton Boxberger, and Dillon Moody; great-granddaughter, Naomi Buchanan; special niece, Montana Buchanan; sisters, Sandra Sawyer of Robbinsville, N.C., and Lidy Orr of Candler, N.C.; and brothers, Clark Hooper of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., and Clayton Hooper of Robbinsville, N.C.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24, 2023, at Robbinsville First Baptist Church. The Revs. Tom Buchanan, Roger Orr and Rance Shuler officiated.
Burial followed the service at Mountain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family received friends from 1-2 p.m. Sunday at the church, prior to the service.
Townson-Smith Funeral Home was honored to serve the Shuler family.
