William Bloomfield Obituary

William J. Bloomfield, 83, passed away peacefully at his home in Robbinsville, N.C. on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2025, surrounded by his family.
He was the son of the late Amos and Alice Bowser Bloomfield of Fort Wayne, In.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Joy Warner Bloomfield.
William was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he proudly served his country.
He is survived by his daughters Connie Bloomfield-Carboni and husband Tracy, of Robbinsville, N.C. and Joanie DeGrandchamp of Fort Wayne, In; grandsons William Bloomfield III and wife Rachel Benjamin Carboni and wife Kaliey; granddaughters Bethany Harper and husband Dakota and Lindsay Grillot and husband Marc along with four great grandchildren.
A private committal service will be held at a later date in the Divine Mercy Cemetery in Fort Wayne, In.
The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Four Seasons Hospice for the care and compassion shown during this time.
Townson-Smith Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Bloomfield Family.
