Amy Bilicki Obituary

Amy Lynn Bilicki, age 47 of West Olive, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 20, 2021, at home. She was born on May 4, 1974, in Royal Oak, Michigan, to Michael and Naomi (Thomas) Sumner. Amy married Paul Bilicki on April 26, 2003, in Warren, Michigan.

Amy graduated from Berkley High School in 1992 and worked as an escalation agent for the National Technical Institute for several years. She enjoyed being outside in nature going camping, traveling, listening to country music, and going to concerts. Amy was a passionate reader who loved reading a good book; she also loved shopping. She had a heart of gold and a love of animals, especially cats and dogs. Most importantly, Amy will be remembered as being a good mother and wife who loved taking care of her family.

Amy is lovingly remembered and missed by her husband of 18 years, Paul; and beloved children, Delaney and Aidan Bilicki; her father, Michael Sumner of Muskegon; sister, Lisa (Timothy) LaFrance of Grand Haven; brother, Jim (Deanna) Sumner of Algonac, Michigan; father-in-law, Norbert (Lorraine) Bilicki; sister-in-law, Beverly (Donald) Rogers; and her nieces and nephews: Griffin and Ethan Sumner, Miles Rogers, Lauren Rogers-Fournier. She was preceded in death by her mother, Naomi; and grandparents, Robert and Pauline Sumner.

The Memorial Service for Amy will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Ron Heiler officiating. Visitations will be on Friday, August 27, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Klaassen Family Funeral Home, and on Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions which will go to Delaney and Aidan Bilicki's College Fund can be made on the Klaassen Funeral Home website by clicking the "Donations" tab on Amy's online obituary. Amy, it’s hard to believe I won’t hear your voice again or see your messages, or Facebook posts or see your beautiful face. We have been friends since we were tots, you knew me like no other and you are so missed. You will forever hold a special place in my heart and I will forever be your bubelah. You know I love you more and always did, never forget it. Thanks for always being there and always knowing what to say. I can’t believe your really gone. It’s so unfair. I love you so much, more of course!
