He also enjoyed playing billiards and received many trophies for winning tournaments. He worked at restoring cars, first with Miller Chevrolet, then Presley Auto Body and Rademaker Auto, before venturing off on his own. He en- joyed restoring classics like '56 & '57 Chevys, Camaros, Mustangs, Corvettes, and other classics.
Mike had a fond relationship with his nephew, Charlie Cuti (deceased), and with his niece, Michele Cuti (living in Texas), and her son, Tru.

I knew Mike from 40+ years ago. He was as funny as a crutch and a very talented artist. I still have hanging prominently in my living room a sandblasted wooden board with the Grand Haven pier on it that he did. He was producing them with just the pier outline left and I told him that he should paint the pier. What resulted was a beautiful red, gray, and black rendering of the pier and catwalk. The board had a knot near the lighthouse that he painted as the setting yellow sun with a blue cloud above it. He signed it M. Cuti with the date 8-14-87. It is truly a piece of art. The good Lord must have really needed him upstairs to take him so soon and too young. My condolences to the entire Cuti family for your loss of a very talented soul. RIP Red.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I knew Mike from when we were kids. I went to junior high and high school with him. Nice guy. I saw him a couple times last year at Riverside Nursing Home. The last time I visited he was upbeat and seemed happy. RIP Mike.

Mike and I grew up one street away from each other. Later in life we would bump into each other on occasion with mutual friends. I'm so very sorry he's gone.
