Matthew Goodlock Obituary
Matthew James Goodlock, 44, of Waldron, Mich., passed away unexpectedly Friday, Aug. 13, 2021. Matthew was born in Morenci, Mich., on Sept. 27, 1977, to Philip A. and Brenda S. (Jewell) Goodlock, and they survive.
Matthew enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing. He loved cars, anything that he could drive, but especially his Nova, and listening to ACDC and Metallica. He could be found watching races at Oakshade Raceway, in Wauseon, or at a muscle car show. His true passion was riding his Harley, even in the winter in Michigan.
Matthew is also survived by two brothers, Mike (Vicky) Goodlock and Marty (Nelly) Goodlock; nieces and nephews, Victoria, Robyn, Hunter Goodlock and Tiana (Jake) Bella; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Philip and Bonnie Goodlock, and Jack and Janis Jewell; stepmothers, Sherri Goodlock and Cindy Vandusen; and aunt, Sylvia Shearer.
A memorial gathering for Matthew will be held 3-7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, 2021, at the Hannan-Colvin American Legion Post 180 in Hudson, Mich.
Eagle-Marry Funeral Home in Hudson, Mich., is entrusted with arrangements.
