Geraldine McCarthy Obituary
Geraldine M. McCarthy age 84 of Grand Rapids passed away peacefully on Thursday July 27, 2023. Surviving are her two children; Timothy (Cheryl) McCarthy of Grand Rapids, and Kevin (Tammy) McCarthy of Walker, six grandchildren; Tarah (Ben) Tiedt, Ashley (Andrew) Womersley, Justin (Kristyn) McCarthy, Sean (Jenna) McCarthy, Amanda (David) Alt and Nicole (Austin) Bennett and eleven great grandchildren, sister Kathleen (Sam) Heukles, brother-in-law Bruce Spencer, many nieces and nephews. Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband Tim, her parents and sisters; Jackie Hancock, Patricia Steinhauer and Sue Spencer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday August 2, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. Alphonsus Church where she will repose one hour prior. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Her family will receive visitors Tuesday August 1, 2023 from 6:00 pm- 8:00 pm at the Arsulowicz Brothers East Mortuary, 937 Michigan St. NE Grand Rapids MI 49503, where a Rosary will be prayed Tuesday at 7:45 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Hospice of Michigan would be appreciated.
