Ike White Obituary
Ike enjoyed writing poetry and listening to classical music.
Ike is preceded in death by his parents and wife and is survived by his daughters Lisa and Erica, grandchildren Marcus, Madison, Jada, and Jalen, sister Vivian, and a host of cousins and friends. Ike also leaves behind his cat Lily who kept him company for many years.
A memorial service will be held at 11am of Friday November 7, 2025 at Memorial Alternatives located at 2432 Fuller Ave. NE Grand Rapids, Michigan 49505. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.

I remember Ike as a parent of Lisa and Erica who were both in some of my 6th grade classrooms in a Grand Rapids Public School. He is a fine gentleman and scholar. He raised a kind , well respected intelligent family. My sympathies to all family members.

Ike and I volunteered together at Mary Free Bed years ago. He was a wonderful friend. He also helped my mother spiritually as she struggled with cancer in his group sessions. He gave her strength and a will to go on. Bless you, Ike.

I worked with Ike White at Pine Rest Christian Hospital for years. He defined the word "class" and always treated the patients with dignity.
