Norma Rozier-Fuchs Obituary

Rozier-Fuchs, Norma 2/9/1953 - 1/2/2018 Grand Rapids On January 2, 2018, Norma Jean Rozier-Fuchs fulfilled her calling here on earth and answered a new, even greater one to join her beloved Father in Heaven. She left us with so much more than memories, for her laughter and joy, as well as her unique, lovable and large personality was contagious and became a forever part of anyone in her company. Norma taught us so many things. She showed us that you can squeeze laughter out of any circumstance, that the Lord Jesus Christ makes life worth living, that love really can overflow, and that sugarcoating anything is unnecessary. Norma was happiest with the sound of a good western filling her living room, talking on the phone with friends and family or fishing on a sunny day. But most of all, she loved to encourage and praise the success of her grandchildren and to join them in their laughter. Norma Jean was born on February 9, 1953, in Dublin, Georgia to her parents Elizabeth Smith and William Rozier. She graduated from Tuskegee University in 1976 with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and moved to Grand Rapids later that same year where she then gave birth to her cherished, one and only child, Myron Bradley. Norma carried out her career at General Motors, where she retired as a Journeyman tool and die maker. In 1999, she married Rolf Fuchs. Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Rolf Fuchs; her mother, Elizabeth Dansey-Smith, sister Charade Harrison, and parents in Christ Willie and Susie Jones. Her memories are entrusted here on Earth by her son, Brad Rozier (Cara); grandchildren, Ethan Rozier, Liam Rozier and Callum Rozier; Father, William Rozier; sisters, Brenda Rozier, Regina Dansey, Sharon Dansey; brothers Ricky Rozier, Ralph Arline, Michael Rozier; sisters in Christ Donna Martin (Manual), Wanda Jones, Theresa Johnson; As well as many other relatives and friends. Aunt Norma I am going to miss you so much. Your laughter was one of a kind. It deeply saddens me to say Good Bye, but I know you are soaring with the Lord. Keeping Cousin Brad and Family in my prayers. Rest Forever with the Angels. .
