1980-2025
Preston Wade Browen, age 44, of Grand Rapids, MN, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 5, 2025. Because he trusted in Jesus Christ in his lifetime, he knew he would be with the Lord forever.
Preston was born in 1980 to Elery " Buzz" and Jackie Browen in Long Prairie, MN. He graduated from Mesabi East High School. Preston moved to Grand Rapids and has lived in the area for the last 10 years.
He worked at Dondelinger Automotive as a parts specialist and was a member of Itasca Bible Church.
Preston was soft-spoken and modest, genuinely cared for people, and had a knack for making you smile. His family treasured him. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Preston is preceded in death by his sister, Pamela Browen; paternal grandfather, Elery Browen Sr.; maternal grandparents, Cyrus and Leota Carlson. He is survived by his parents; brother, Luke Polansky; paternal grandmother, Sonja Browen; aunts, uncles, cousins, and his favorite cat, Mel.
A visitation will be held at Itasca Bible Church on Monday, April 14, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM A memorial service will be at 11:00 AM with a luncheon to follow. Pastor Shaun Laughlin will officiate.
