Robert LeRoy Mandich of Chisholm, MN passed away on Sept. 19, 2023 in his home.
Robert (Bob) was born May 25, 1965 in Hibbing, MN to LeRoy Mandich and Kathrin Leino.
Robert (Bob) was a U.S. Navy Veteran (SeaBee) and was proud to be a SeaBee. Robert fought for our country in the Gulf War.
Robert was a Life Disabled American Veteran and volunteered many hours when he was able.
Robert is survived by: mother Diana Mandich, sisters Theresa Rahier, Cathy (Mandich) Broten, Joanne Mandich, Tammy (Dennis) Raiter. Nieces: Stephanie Potasnak, loved like a daughter, Darlene Broten, and Amanda Raiter. Nephews: John Mandich, Nathan Potasnak, Donald Broten, Joshua Dorman, Jacob Rahier. His children: Casey, Austin, Elijah, and Jayden. Robert has 2 granddaughters and 3 grandsons, great nephews and nieces, many friends and AKA brothers.
Robert is proceeded in death by father LeRoy Mandich, mother Kathrin Mathison, brother LeRoy Mandich Jr., grandparents Eli & Mary Mandich, Nick & Darlene Pavich, nephew Stephen Potasnak, grandchildren Chase, Chance, and Cerene. Brother in laws: Donald Broten, Greg Adams.
Bob made special memories that will last a lifetime. He would make root beer floats with his grandchildren for breakfast.
Bob loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved to hunt and fish. Bob loved dogs and now spends his time fishing with his dog Rocky, his dad, nephew Stephen, and brother-in-law Greg.
Bob will be remembered as one tough S.O.B. By Niece Stephanie and loved my many.
A military service will be in Chisholm, MN at the "Chisholm Calvary Cemetery" on Wednesday, June 26 (11550 Cemetery Rd) beginning at 11:00 a.m.
