Timothy Salisbury Obituary

Timothy James Salisbury, 71, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away on August 15th, 2022. He was born to parents Walter (Buzz) and Clara Salisbury, on January 21st, 1951 in Grand Rapids, MN.

Tim graduated from Grand Rapids High School in 1969. He went on to study as an Electronic Technician at the Hibbing Area Vocational Technical Institute and graduated June 5th, 1975.

Tim and his brother Dean built, owned and operated Cohasset Concrete Products. He then started S&S Excavating. He was an entrepreneur throughout his life. He had a brilliant and creative mind which he used in all of his endeavors. He was known to take on new projects and learn new skills. He was quick to befriend anyone he met. He enjoyed working with cars and motors, racing, playing on his excavating equipment, hunting and fishing. 

Tim is survived by Karla Salisbury, daughter, Corey Salisbury, son, Tessa Sackett, daughter. They are all of Grand Rapids, MN.  

Tim was preceded in death by Clara and Walter (Buzz) Salisbury, parents, and Dean Salisbury, brother.

The family will have a private Celebration of Life at a later date.
