Connie D. Wright

1947 - 2022

Connie D. Brown Wright, 74, of Williamstown, KY, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022, at Harrison Memorial Hospital. Born on Aug. 16, 1947 in Pendleton County, KY, she was a daughter of the late John Carlos and Pauline Wells Brown.
On June 22, 1967, she married Bobby Wright, and her dear husband preceded her in death in July of 1982. For several years, she and her late husband farmed the Ponderosa Stock Farm in Grant County.
For 15 ½ years, Connie was a Department Manager at Wal-Mart in Dry Ridge, where she enjoyed caring for the patrons and her work family. She was a member of the Lystra Church of Christ in Mason, KY, a Notary of KY, and formerly she volunteered as a Girl Scout Leader.
Previously, she attended Grassy Run Baptist Church and enjoyed singing in the choir and teaching Sunday School. Wherever life took her, Connie sought out opportunities to help family and friends, and she was always glad to share the gift of her cooking. She loved music, reading, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by two daughters blessed to have her as their Mom: Pauletta L. Wright Johnson (Jeff) of Cleveland, GA and Ginger A. Wright (Jimmy James) of Dry Ridge, KY; one grandson, Jarrod M. Baker of Williamstown, KY; three step grandsons: Dylan Johnson of Richmond, KY, Kyle James of Lexington, KY, and Corey James of Southgate, KY; one sister Ethel Hubbard of Dry Ridge, KY; several nieces and nephews, several best friends; and a host of lives she touched.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Carl Brown in 2020.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12 at Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth. The visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday preceding her service at the funeral home. Private family interment will take place in the New Columbus Cemetery, Owen County, immediately following the service.
