Dear Jane and Jesse,
I am sure I express the sentiments of all of the members of the Nashville Area Association of Family and Consumer Sciences who had the privilege of meeting your precious mother. We cherish the times she so lovingly assisted in hosting our Christmas meetings in your beautifully decorated home. Mrs. Gladys was always the epitome of not only the Christmas spirit, but also the essence of all that we espouse in our field of Family and Consumer Sciences.
May the memory of her long and beautiful life be comforting to you and your family throughout the days ahead.
Sincerely, Ola G. Hudson, Chrm.

Dear Jane and Duvall Family,
It was such a pleasure getting to know Mrs. Gladys these past few years. I always enjoyed seeing her at our Nashville Area Association of Family and Consumer Sciences meetings, and I'm glad I got to celebrate her milestone birthday with your family. She was a sweet lady, and I know she leaves a powerful legacy in the family that she raised and the wonderful Mother that she was. Your family is in my thoughts today.
In Sympathy,
Sandra Gray

I loved Ms Gladys; was blessed to worship with her at Clarkson church of Christ. She always had a smile and you knew she truly cared. She shared her daffodils with me. They were blooming the morning I returned to Kentucky after having Larry's memorial service in Louisiana. Those pretty flowers brought a smile to my soul! I will miss her
