Angela Suzanne Almond, 36, of Great Falls, a medical transcriptionist, died of undetermined causes Sunday at her home.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Croxford Funeral Home and Crematory. A gathering of family and friends will take place at 5 p.m. today at The Brick lounge.
She is survived by her daughters Cassidy Rae Ford and Zurianna Esther Wayne of Great Falls; her parents, Russell E. and Bonnie R. Almond of Gresham, Ore.; a sister, Amy Slyter of Gresham; a brother, Robert Overturf of Portland, Ore.; many nieces and nephews and numerous friends.
Angela was born March 23, 1972, in Portland, Ore. She was raised and educated in Portland, graduating from Oregon City Christian Academy. She had earned a degree in medical transcription from the Great Falls vo-tech.
She had a daughter, Cassidy Rae, with Richard Ford, and another daughter, Zurianna Esther, with Gideon Wayne.
Angela had been employed at the Great Falls Tribune, Check Solutions, and was an event coordinator for the fairgrounds. She was excellent at customer service jobs, as she shared her smile with everyone she came into contact with.
She loved making people laugh, music, dancing, going to the gym, swimming and she loved Happy Tummy Taxi. She also enjoyed game night and playing cards and board games.
She especially loved her family and all of her friends, and most of all she was an amazing mother and loved her two beautiful daughters. She was the most kind-hearted person and will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by Darrin James Hutchins, who was like a brother to her.

I dont even know where to begin my sweet friend. You were one of the most amazing people I have ever met in my life. We had so many great times together, so many memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I will miss your smile, our long talks, and your laugh, that amazing laugh...it is echoed in my heart for always. Our lunches every friday and remember that day we almost got kicked out of the chinese restrauant from laughing to loud. You were a great mom and your girls were so blessed to have you in their life. You have touched so many peoples lives. I dont think you even knew how important you were to those around you. There will be a void forever in all of our lives. I hope you have found peace my dear friend, I love you Angela and you will be so greatly missed!!!
