Carol Senteney Obituary

UTICA - Carol (Anderson) Senteney, 66, formerly of Utica, died of natural causes Saturday at her daughter's home near Buffalo.
No formal funeral services will be held, but a farewell memorial for her is 2 p.m. Sunday at Utica Community Hall. Cremation took place under the direction of Central Montana Crematorium.
Survivors include sons Mark Senteney of Utica, Steve Senteney of Burbank, Calif., and Joe Walsh of Marino Valley, Calif.; a daughter, Terrie Faber of Buffalo; a brother, Larry Anderson of Kila; a sister, Kay Buchholz of Fort Mohave, Ariz.; two grandsons, Dane and Daniel; and one great-grandson, Elias.
Carol was born to Ogden and Fay Anderson in Miles City, the second of four children. She attended school in Winifred.
She married Harvatt Senteney on Nov. 14, 1961, and they farmed near Utica for many years. Carol had three children, Mark, Steve and Terrie, and later added Joe to the mix.
Carol spent 20 years working at Valley Vista as a CNA and various other jobs. She also worked at the Lewistown Hospital. She later purchased and operated the Oxen Yoke Inn.
Carol was very active in the Utica community and was always helping others. She was much loved and will be missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvatt Senteney; her parents; and a brother, Allen Anderson.
Memorials in her name are suggested to Hospice of CMMC, 408 Wendell Ave., Lewistown, MT 59457.
