Catherine Reid Obituary
Redlands, CA — Catherine Reid of Redlands California died July 25, 2017 of natural causes at Mission Commons, Redlands, California.
No services will be held at the request of the deceased.
Catherine was born May 13, 1925 to William O. Reid and Amelia (Benedict) Reid in Great Falls, Montana. She was raised on a farm in the Geraldine community, attending rural Sunnyside grade school and Geraldine High School where she gradated in 1943. She graduated from the Great Falls College of Education (now University of Great Fall) in 1946, and then interned in the Columbus Hospital of Medical Technology, obtaining her degree and registration as a Medical Technologist in 1947.
She is survived by a nephew, Reid (Bill) Hankins (Anita) of California, a niece, Diane Freemon of Tennessee, 5 grand nieces and nephews, a great grand nephew and great grand niece, and her adored cat, Cicero. She was preceded in death by her father in 1936, her mother in 1983, and sister in 2007.
