Elsie Pearl Reid

Elsie Pearl Reid, age 88, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026, at Hospice of Dayton in Ohio. Born on June 26, 1937, in London, Kentucky, Elsie was the beloved daughter of John Morris Adams and Florence Bruner Adams. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Rollie Reid, and her son, Rollie Cress Reid.

Elsie is lovingly remembered by her surviving children: Ralph Reid, Robert Reid, and Linda Hensley, all of Manchester. Her legacy also lives on in her grandchildren-Joshua Reid, Jerrod Reid, Matthew Hensley, and Michael Hensley-and her great-grandchildren-Alexis Reid, Mason Reid, Maggie Reid, Emily Hensley, Dywatt Hensley, James Hensley, and Aiden Reid.

She is also survived by her siblings: John Adams, Paul Adams, Donnie Adams, Gladys Adams, Trula Ooton, and Louise Wilson. Elsie was preceded in death by her siblings Emma Adams, Leroy Adams, Mary Hibbard, Keith Adams, Ronnie Adams, and Betty Morgan.

A service to celebrate Elsie's life will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 12:00 PM, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. She will be laid to rest at Reid Cemetery on Greenbrier.

Elsie's memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends. Her kindness and love for her family leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.
