Joseph Reid Obituary
Joseph Edwin Reid, 92, of Akron, passed away on March 28, 2026. He was born in Carrollton, GA on May 7, 1933 to the late Ruell and Ivor {Johnson} Reid.
In addition to his parents, Edwin was preceded in death by his brothers Jack and Jerry Reid.
Edwin is survived by his loving sister, Jeanie (Joe) Tillman; sisters-in-law Ina Reid and Nancy (Michael) Shaffer; nieces Michele (Aaron) Maynard and Lori (Jeff) Funai; nephew Andy (Carie) Tillman.
Per Edwin's wishes, cremation has taken place, and he will be laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. To share a memory of Edwin or leave a special message for his family, visit the guest book below.
