David Carlson Obituary
SAND COULEE —David Edward Carlson, 65, of Sand Coulee, passed away after battling brain cancer, at home on February 26, 2017 surrounded by family.
He was born to Dave and Shellie Carlson on May 4, 1951. David worked as a carpenter, mechanic on road construction, and retired from Tractor and Equipment after 30 years.
David married the love of his life, Karen Ann Greenslate on April 19, 1979. They had two boys, Cory of Missoula and Kyle of Great Falls. He taught his boys his love of the outdoors and did many activities with them. In later years, he and Karen traveled to Mexico, Hawaii and the Gulf Coast States to enjoy the ocean beaches.
David is survived by his wife, Karen; children Cory and Kyle; grandchildren Liam Carlson of Missoula, and Parker and Miles Carlson of Great Falls; father Dave Carlson of Belt; sister Karen (Rick) Pepos of Sand Coulee; and numerous nephews, niece and niece-in-laws.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Shellie; brother Scott; grandparents; and aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 3, 2017 at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Schnider Funeral Home.
Memorials in David's name may be made to Peace Hospice, 1101 26th St. S., Great Falls, MT 59405.

I am so sorry for the loss of Dave. I can't tell you how much help you husband and father was to me the entire time we worked together at ABBCO and then T&E. I valued him as a person, and his knowledge, and his prospective. I always sought his input. I know that he loved and was proud of you all, greatly. Our prayers go out to you.

In all the years I did business with T&E there was no one that worked harder than Dave to ensure that all work was completed in a timely fashion and all repairs were done correctly. You were first class to work with Dave.
But the best part was that I could call Dave a friend. You will be missed by many, Godspeed and RIP David.....
