To the Calvert family, I just wanted to let you know i was sad to hear of Sonny's passing he was a bright shining star in this world, so full of laughter and smiles. I will always remember all the times at the cabin in Wolf Creek hunting in the fall and fishing at the lake. He will be dearly missed but he left us many great memories.

I remember one year my family (Rich, Terry, Josh and I) spent Christmas at the Cabin in Wolf Creek. I was little maybe 7 years old. Grandpa went out and cut down a little tree for us and we spent time making our own decorations for it. Grandpa got me a crimp and curl cabage patch, I was so excited. And still to this day I have that every doll he got me. We spent so much time up there with him, and too many memories to count. He was and is loved very much and will be missed by all who knew him.

Phyllis and family: My prayers are with all of you. Sonny was a very good husband to my sister. He brought joy when around him and I remember him playing the guitar; mouth organ and singing. We would be in the other room and all of a sudden we could hear singing. I also remember last summer, Sonny took us out on the pontoon on the lake. Big waves started coming and he laughed every time we would get wet. He will be missed.

To the Calvert family,
So sorry to hear about Sonny. The best memory was at hunting camp with Jakeway's homemade camper, my Dad Charlie, and me stopped to see him, and Sonny played the guitar, my dad played the harmonica, I played the accordian, and Sonny's dad George was there also. George Sr. was dancing with a broom. It was a good time. I will miss seeing him occassionally as I did over the last 40 or so years.

I was so sorry to see that Sonny passed on, please know you are in my prayers and thoughts and that Sonny will always bring fond memories to mind as we remember the things we shared along the trail. Please accept my most sincere condolences. my father, Roy Hall, knew Sunny and always concidered him a very good friend. I will always remember the trips to the cabin on Jr. Carlsons ranch on the Smith River and later the Search and Rescue camp outs and Sunny singing and playing around the camp fire. These are some of my fondest memories growing up. Although dad passed away in "93" and mom in "01" they remembered him fondly right to the end and spoke of him often. I will keep your family in my prayers.
