"Mr. Herbie was one of a kind. He was a big part of my life when I was a child. He always treated me like a princess. He was like a grandpa to me. He always had a sweet tooth and he would always introduce me to new sweets. He always had that N.Y hustle. Always spontaneous and adventurous. Since he was a nomad, I traveled to different states and learned a lot. Always watched classical movies that either had singing or dancing in it. He was also a very hard man to contact. Since he only believed in pay phones and a bucket of quarters. I will always remember and cherish the moments we had together. I was very lucky to have had you in my life at one point. I really wish I could have found you sooner."
Love you always,

Herbie was one of the first patients that I ever took care of after I became a nurse several years ago. He was full of storys and always kept me on my toes. My thoughts and prayers are with the Brill family.
