Jane Stubbs Obituary

Jane L Stubbs

Great Falls, MT — Jane L Stubbs (Toole): May 24, 1932-July 23, 2017

As a devoted Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, Jane L. Stubbs left this earth full of love and kindness to sing with the angels. Whether she was cooking up the best, strictly from scratch, meal, making pickles from her own garden, dancing her fingers across the ivory keys of her piano, beating you soundly in a game of marbles, washing every piece of clothing you had with you before you could leave her house, or calling one of a dozen relatives to sing happy birthday, she always let you know she remembered you and that you were loved.

Born May 24, 1932, she and her twin sister were brought into a loving home from the Omaha Children's Hospital by Arthur and Ruth Toole. Jane graduated from Kearney High School in Kearney, NE, a proud member of the class of 1950 garnering accolades as an opera singer. She attended college at Nebraska State Teacher's College and graduated in 1954 earning a degree in Home Economics. Little did she know she would be able to use her degree to raise 3 children, 6 grandchildren, and eventually 9 great-grandchildren.

In 1952, she and her lifelong love, Milo Stubbs, were married. She served for 26 years as a military wife before she and Milo retired to Great Falls. Throughout their 65 years of marriage they created a legacy that continues to grow. She is survived by her husband Milo Stubbs, son Arthur Stubbs his wife Pam and their children Robert & Randi; son Robert Stubbs his wife Vicki and their children Amanda & Kelli; daughter Jeannie Kaste her husband Steve and their children Heather & Andrea; Nephew Loren Jr. She's held and loved each of her 9 great grandchildren (Taylor, Leina, Karlie, Bentley, Liv, Emelia, Daxtyn, Alexa and Sophia) proudly wearing the title of Grandma GG. Jane was preceded in death by her parents (Arthur and Ruth Toole), her twin sister and brother-in-law (Jean and Loren Howe). Her family was her most prized accomplishment and greatest treasure.

At Jane's request no services will be held.
