Joseph G. Hofer

Seville Colony —Joseph (George) Hofer, age 38, passed away peacefully in his home at the Seville Colony on January 31, 2015. He was born February 4, 1976 at Rockport Colony. Joseph was dearly loved and will be missed greatly by everybody that knew him. He especially loved kids, they seemed to brighten his days.

Survivors include his parents, George and Sarah Hofer; brothers Jerry (Christina) Hofer and Albert Hofer; sisters Ida (Edward) Waldner and Anna (William) Hofer all of the Seville Colony; his grandpa Reverend George D. Hofer from the Rockport Colony; grandma Sarah J. Wipf of the Seville Colony, and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins in various colonies. He was preceded in death by a brother, Nathan D. Hofer, grandpa Reverend Joseph Wipf and grandma Mary Hofer.

He is with our dear Lord and Savior. May our dear loved one rest in peace. Service will be at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at the Seville Colony.

Although my time knowing Joe was short, he had a spark and a smile that far outweighed any of his physical limitations! He will be missed by many! Sarah - you had an awesome young man! My thoughts and prayers are with you! God has BIG plans for Joe! Krista
