Joshua Pinocci Obituary

Joshua Martin Pinocci

Great Falls —Joshua "Joshapee" Pinocci, 22, of Great Falls, died July 23, 2014.

His memorial service will be at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Joshua was born in Great Falls, Montana on October 16, 1991.

Joshua attended school in Great Falls, Roosevelt, Paris Gibson, GFHS and Paris Alternative.

As a young child, Joshua enjoyed church with grandma Shirley, being with grampa Rudy and Julie.

Joshua took karate, gymnastics and swimming classes his elementary years and also enjoyed cartoons and home movies with Mom; roller skating; friend sleep overs; camping; walks around town with Mom; Galaxy Games; ventures at Belt Creek; video games; computers, music (ICP), driving fast, fireworks; body art; live poker, beer pong; and most of all, he enjoyed being with his friends (his chosen family) and their children.

Joshua was "Uncle Josh" to many and loved every one of them dearly. He was doing what he enjoyed doing the past few years … out on his own… in with friends…fishing, camping and being surrounded by friends who have shown how much they truly love him. Joshua was living his life.

Thank all who hold Joshua dear to their heart; it brings our family some peace knowing he was loved so much. I pray that Joshua's fatal mistake is a lesson for all those who know and love him. Joshua had a gentle soul and a huge heart, but he wasn't using his head. Our prayers are with Vincent Biggs and his family, as he recovers from his injuries. Joshua would have never wanted to hurt anyone.

Survivors include his mother, Tina Pinocci of Great Falls; father Marvin Farmer of Great Falls; siblings Lesley Bull Shields, Kylie Farmer, Latasha Farmer and Rian Carlson; great grandma Elizabeth Brown of MN; Grandma Shirley Pinocci of Great Falls; Grandpa Rodolfo Pinocci and Julie Katchmar of Great Falls; and Charles and Doris Farmer; chosen family Baxter Brown Jennifer Yeagley Randal and Jessica Yeagley family; uncles and aunties Mario and Esperanza Pinocci of Great Falls, David Pinocci of Helena, Randy and Schveltlana Pinocci of Sun River, Joe and Carol Pinocci family of Great Falls, Silvestro and Gresha Bertol family of Great Falls, Adolfo and Diane Bertoli family of Great Falls, Josephina Bertoli of Great Falls, Bud and Barb Serfling family of MN, Andy and Joan Thomas family of AZ, Steve and Mary Gill of NE, Tony and Rose Wagner of FL, Bill and Bonnie Williams of WA, Ginny Lawsen of Browning, uncles and aunt Robert Farmer, Ginny Farmer-Lawson, Charles Farmer, Jr.; cousins Priscilla Pinocci of Great Falls, Cody and Tyger Nash of WA and Christopher Kohles of Great Falls; as well as "Digger" turtle of 17 years and "Kokoa", Joshua's 4 year old pup; as well as numerous nieces nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, all from Browning.

He was preceded in death by his great grandparents Adolfo and Dina Pinocci, Azaelia Strasburg, and George Brown; chosen grandma, Linda Brown; uncles and aunties Louie Pinocci, Thomasso Bertoli, Bruno and Carolina Sartini, Bruno Pinocci, Travis Sutherland and Sharon Ray Farmer; and a cousin, Pauline Slade.

The Pinocci family would like to thank everyone for their comforting words, prayers, blessings and food during our time of sadness, as well as to the emergency responders. Joshua wanted to be an organ donor and by doing so, he left a priceless gift to at least 50 people

Joshua came into this world as a gift to me and left this world a gift to so many. He will be missed greatly and will never be forgotten. Momma loves you baby.

Tina....I have not ever met you before, but your son and my son went to Paris Alternative high school together. Our sons were in Drivers Ed together and I remember bringing him home after drivers ed each evening. I have to say you raised a fine young man. It was such a pleasure to talk to. I found him to have such a different outlook on life and so full of great things that he wanted to do. I am very happy to have had a chance to meet him. My son Dusty has had a hard time with Josh's passing, it sure caught him off guard as it did many people. I want you to know that you raised a fine young man and he will always be with you and all of us in spirit. My prayers are with you and all of your family at this time. May God keep you strong.
