Robert Newman Obituary
Great Falls —Bob (Robert) Newman, age 61, passed away at Peace Hospice of natural causes, Friday, June 28th. His services will be held at Croxford Funeral Home on Saturday, July 13th at 3pm, with burial of ashes to follow at Highland Cemetery.
Bob was born on November 16th, 1951 while on a brief trip to Worland, Wyoming where his father was working on construction. He was raised and educated in Great Falls, graduating from CM Russell High School in 1970. He went to college in Portland, Oregon returning to Great Falls to work with his father in the Newman Family Construction business.
For nearly the last 30 years he has worked at Mechanix Unlimited as a diesel mechanic. He enjoyed buying Snap on Tools, his youngest son Jefferson, especially playing pool with him and building a go-cart together and visiting with friends and family and having breakfast on Sunday with his brother and others that may show up. He will be forever remembered for his one liners and dry sense of humor.
He will be deeply missed by his mom Louise Newman. His wife CA (Rudy) Newman and son Jefferson Newman of the family home. His daughter Theresa (Reese) Newman (Shane Beesley) of Shepherd, MT, His son Joseph Newman of Black Eagle, MT. Sisters Leanna (Merle) Gunderson and Cindy Newman all of Great Falls. His brother Mike Newman of Great Falls. Also surviving him are Stacee (Justin) Meccage and Dustin Voytoski whom he considered his children. His grandchildren Maddie Ober, Kyler, Hudson and Rylan Meccage, and Morgan Nelson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews Robbie Gunderson, Davey Kraus, Deanna Yatsko, Andrea Boiwhuis, Chris Newman, Stacee Newman, Brandi Fulbright and Sean Kraus.
Surviving him also are his best friends Walt Roberts, Ron Strizich, and good friends Guy Haney and Doug Ward; and Karleen Voytoski, and dancing partner Cindy Nault.
He is preceded in death by his father Earl Newman in 1981.
Memorials can be sent to the Great Falls Rescue Mission, Childrens Receiving Home, and Our Lady of Lourdes Bus Fund.

Leanna and all of Bob's family. I did not have the pleasure and blessing to know Bob, but Leanna has told me so much about him. My heart and love go out to all of you who hurt from his loss. May God grant you peace of mind.

Bob's family is in my thoughts and prayers. He was a funny, happy guy that I always enjoyed talking to. I served him "chicken eggs" for years on the weekend when I was a waitress and I delivered parts to him at Mechanix for years during the weekdays. He always helped me carry heavy items and left me with a smile while I was driving off with his witty phrases. He was unique and always a character.

In Loving Memory of Bob Newman, my Son-In-Law. I can't even tell you how much it hurts me that he has died. Tears just seem to keep flowing as do memories. He always treated me nicely, always made sure to greet me, and if I ever needed some work on my car he'd work on mine and let me drive his until mine was done. (Wow, that's trusting!) Bob's sense of humor, jokes, etc. will be remembered by all. Blessings to all who knew and loved Bob. He's not hurting any more. He'll be missed by a lot family members, friends, acquaintances and even the dogs. Lovingly, Sylvia Rapley, Mother-In-Law.
