Valier —Ruth Irene Yeager was taken by angels July 25, 2015 to be reunited with her heavenly family at the age of 94. Ruth passed in her home surrounded by family after a battle with cancer. Ruth was born June 14, 1921 in Deshler Ohio to Fred and Sylvia Royce Freed. She moved to Indiana with her family at the age of 2. Ruth attended school in Wolcott, Indiana. She met and married Robert Yeager October 10, 1940 in Odell, Indiana. Ruth and Bob moved to Valier in 1947 where they raised their 8 children. Ruth loved to bowl, do ceramics, play the horses and bingo at the state fair and spend time with friends and family. Ruth looked forward to her Saturday morning coffee gathering, afternoon card party, her annual family reunion when her daughter and family would come from Wyoming to help celebrate her birthday, and welcoming new great great grandchildren to the family. Ruth is survived by seven children, Pat Payne, Cindy (Dick) Habets of Valier, Donna Kubas (Leonard Shure) of Kevin, Tammie Coster (Frank Vetere) of Great Falls, Diana (Roy) Webb of Burns Wyoming, Don (Janice) Yeager and Joan (AI) Farnstrom of Conrad, 27 grandchildren, 63 great grandchildren, & 34 great great grandchildren, Sister, Esther Rich, numerous nieces and nephews of Indiana and Wyoming and her beloved cat TC, who was her loyal friend and companion. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Robert L. Yeager; her son, Robert W. Yeager; granddaughter, Karen Payne and her father, James; her parents Fred & Sylvia Freed; brothers, Harold and Raymond; sister, Agnes all of Indiana; sons-in-Iaw Mike McAllister and Shane Coster. Ruth will be missed by everyone, but will remain in our hearts and memories forever. A Celebration of her life will be held August 15th at 11:00 at the Fireman's Pavilion at Lake Francis in Valier, followed by burial at the Hillside Cemetery.
