Sara Holman Obituary

FRANKLIN, Tenn. - Former Great Falls resident Sara Holman, 21, of Franklin, Tenn., died in an automobile accident Friday in Tennessee.
Her memorial service is 10 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church. Friends and family are encouraged to wear any shade of pink, especially fuchsia. Croxford Funeral Home and Crematory is handling arrangements.
Survivors include her parents, Dwight and Debbie Holman of Great Falls; sisters Jamie of Seattle and Kelsey of Great Falls; her grandparents, Gary and Dorie Hall, and Homer and Dorothy Holman; uncles and aunts Rod and Rose-mary Hall, Randy Hall, Randy and Lorraine Holman, Robbie and Mary Holman, Sherrie (Holman) and Ted Higgins and Beryl (Holman) Nyce.
Sara grew up in Great Falls and attended C.M. Russell High School. She went on to pursue her passion for fashion and design at Montana State University-Great Falls College of Technology. During her college studies, she enjoyed working at the Hampton Inn in Great Falls. She worked in retail fashion at Wet Seal in Great Falls and Dallas, and went on to work for White House Black Market in Franklin.
Sara was loyal to friends and family. Among her favorite activi-ties in younger years were family trips in their motor home and camping and fishing in Sun River Canyon. She especially liked family get-togethers, and shopping with her mom and sisters.
She was fond of spontaneous road trips without a map or a plan. In recent years she loved floating in local rivers and boating at Holter Lake with friends. She especially loved dressing up and will be remembered for her tremendous sense of fashion and style.
Sara's spirit and approach to life is well summed up by Dr. Seuss:
"Be who you are, say what you feel. Those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind."

This isn't real - it can't be happening - and yet Sara is gone. It's so sad that Sara was taken away at such a young age. I take comfort in knowing that Sara lived each day to the fullest. To The Holman Clan-
The last couple of days I have been replaying some of the memories Sara and I shared over the years. I will never forget all the birthday parties, dances, classes, and sleepovers, as we were growing up-moments I will cherish. It was heartbreaking to hear about this tragic loss.
