Private services will be at a later date. Cremation has taken place under the direction of O'Connor Funeral Home.
He is survived by his parents, Fred and Charlotte Gabel of Cascade; daughter Erin Gabel of Round Rock, Texas; and brother Danny Gabel of Janesville, Wis.

I was Scott´s stepdaughter for a while. Most of my memories of him were us playing and him being a great father figure to me. I´m saddened by his passing and even more that I was unable to attend any funeral services for him.
