Scott Schurman Obituary

Scott Schurman

Scott Schurman, 58, has moved on to better things, joining his father and best friend in hunting and fishing shenanigans in paradise. He passed away peacefully in his home on April 26th after fighting a long battle with illness. Scott graduated from CMR in 1980, and spent the majority of his life driving the big rigs and causing ruckus with his sarcasm and wit. A celebration of life will be held later this summer.

Scott was the most genuine person I've ever met. I will always remember his humor, generosity, kindness, wisdom, and most of all his heart. We had many many good times. Until we meet again my friendI sure will miss shooting some stick with you

It is a very sad day when someone passes away at such a young age. I will always remember Scott by the stories Brian told about their Elk hunting trips in the mountains and their visit to Cooke City via horseback after a week in the wilderness. Scott was a true mountain man.
