Shane Lombardo Obituary

Shane Joseph Lombardo, 30, of 2228 Central Ave. W., a quarry mason, died Sunday, Jan. 22, at his home, of complications from heart disease.

Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Faith Lutheran Church, followed by a reception. Schnider Funeral Home is in charge of arrange-ments.

Survivors include his parents, Joseph and Stephanie Lombardo of Great Falls; sons Colton and Dalton Lombardo and their mother, Ashley McGee, all of Great Falls; a sister, Elisha Ruiz of Great Falls; a nephew, Antonio Ruiz of San Antonio; aunt and uncle Ray and Debbie Lombardo of Great Falls; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by an uncle, Mark Lombardo; a grandmother, Mary Briden; and grandfather Joseph Lombardo Jr.

Shane was born April 28, 1981, in Great Falls, and was raised and educated here. He graduated in 1999 from C.M. Russell High School, and then attended Aurora Community College in Denver to study business and music.

Upon returning to Great Falls, Shane worked at ShopKo, the Heritage Inn and then a rock quarry. He made many friends wherever he was.

Shane loved spending time with his sons and family most of all. His two boys were the light of his life, and he wanted only the best for them. His spirit will live on with them, and all who knew him.

Shane enjoyed working out; playing guitar, which was self-taught; and could play songs by ear. Shane had the biggest heart and was always there to listen to anyone and give advice.

"Hit the lights, ride the light-ning, you are the one, the master, hero of the day. Wherever you may roam, never forget that through the never, nothing else matters except we believe in you." - Metallica

"We love you and miss you so much, Shane, and you are forever in our hearts."

I was so sorry to hear about your brother. He was such a great kid in high school and I always had hoped to recruit him for the newspaper too, but I think he was a bit shy. It is so shocking. Our prayers and thoughts are with you now. It does bring back fond memories of CMR to think of the two of you.Let me know if I can help in any way. Katie Myers Kotynski 761-4463

Joe and Stephanie,
Shane's memories will always live within us for the fun we remember way back in our shared days together at WestSide Little League. Our Burger King team practices were among the favorite times to enjoy the kids. Joe and Shane were always there and added to the BK spirit.
May your family live in peace as you find support to navigate today and the days to come.
