Ted McKinley Obituary

SALT LAKE CITY - Ted McKinley, 71, of Salt Lake City, a former Blaine County resident and retired truck driver, died of Lou Gehrig's disease May 25 in a Salt Lake City hospital.
Memorial services have taken place in Millcreek Canyon, Utah.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Christine McKinley, children Ted McKinley Jr., Rebecca Pasley, Steven McKinley, Wesley McKinley and Sarah McKinley, all of Salt Lake City; sisters Donna Schultz and Jetta McKinley, both of Great Falls, and Marlis Walls of Boulder City, Nev.; and a brother, Brooks McKinley of Ronan.
Ted was born in 1936 in Glasgow. He grew up and was educated in Blaine County, attending schools in Savoy, Chinook and Harlem. Ted was a hard worker and believed in getting things done. He enjoyed life and was devoted to his family. He will be sorely missed.Ted stands out as a shining example for humanity by donating his body for Lou Gehrig's disease research. Thank you, Ted, for allowing us to be a part of your life and for loving us. God will be with you and us, until we all meet again.
