Pamela Banwell Obituary

Pamela Banwell, 61, of Eaton, met her savior Jesus on April 22nd, 2022. She was born to Jack H. Carroll and Donna L. Fairchild on August 9th, 1960, in Oxnard, CA. Pamela's father was in the Navy and so from the ages of 2-4 years, she lived in Guam with her family. In her younger years, Pamela moved to Fort Collins, CO. She graduated from Poudre High School in 1979 and then went on to attend Beauty School. On April 19th, 1980, she met Steve Banwell. They immediately felt a connection and about 6 months later, on October 30th, 1980, Pamela and Steve were married at the F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, WY. Pamela worked as the school cook in Michigan for 15 years before moving back to Colorado. She was also an avid supporter of Paralyzed Veterans and St. Jude's Children Hospital. Pamela was a woman of sincere faith who loved the Lord Jesus. She had many hobbies and interests including gardening. You could say she had a green thumb. She was also very crafty and had a knack for decorating cakes. Pamela was known to take photos of rainbows wherever she would go, she built quite the collection. But above all, she loved and cherished her family. One of her favorite things to do was blow bubbles with her grandchildren. Pamela is survived by her loving husband Steve Banwell, her children; Amber L. Duchaine and her husband Jeffrey, Loren C. Banwell and his wife Hope, and Lance Banwell, her grandchildren; Connor Banwell and Wyatt Banwell, Viktor Duchaine, and Audrey Duchaine, and her sister Michelle R. Stauffer and her husband Allen, and many many family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Jack Carrol and Donna Fairchild. In Lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in care of Adamson Life Celebration Home; 2000 W 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634. A Life Celebration Service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 7th, 2022, at The Greeley First Church Nazarene. Friends may leave condolences for the family at Adamsoncares.com
