Ruby Ramirez

1975 - 2022

Ruby Renee Ramirez passed away on August 9th, 2022 at her home in Loveland. She was 47 years old. She was born on April 9th, 1975 in Greeley, Colorado to Yolanda Ramirez and Ramon Carrasco. Ruby grew up in Johnstown and attended Roosevelt High School, and later graduated from Jefferson High School in Greeley. Ruby was married to Robert Trexler of Loveland and had four sons and one daughter. She was a hair stylist, but dedicated much of her life to raising her children, and also kindly provided child care to many family members and friends. Ruby was extremely devoted to her family and friends for her whole life. She is remembered as a wonderful mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend and will be dearly missed by so many. She loved to socialize, she was a great cook and baked some of the best cakes in the area, which she often gifted to family members and friends on their birthdays. Ruby was kind, generous, funny, and friendly. She loved listening to music and spending time with friends and family. Her loved ones remember her as never being afraid to speak her mind and going above and beyond for those she loved, especially her children. Ruby is survived by her husband Robert Trexler of Loveland, her sons Jimmy Manzanares Jr., Angel Manzanares, Isaac Manzanares and Xzavier Manzanares, daughter Nevaeh Trexler, mother Yolanda Ramirez (Nicolas) of Milliken, grandmother Juana Maria Ramirez of Johnstown, grandmother Antonia Carrasco of Milliken, grandparents Manuela and Felipe Perez of Evans, brother Christopher (Tricia) Ramirez of Johnstown, sister Patricia (Manuel) Quiñones of Milliken, brother Jesse (Erica) Vallejo of Johnstown, and nieces Trinity Ramirez, Zaylia Ramirez, Layla Quiñones, Amaya Quiñones, Jannesa Vallejo, Tiana Vallejo, Destiny Vallejo, Aleena Vallejo, and Zaraiah Vallejo, and nephew Ramon Vallejo. Ruby is preceded in death by her father Ramon Carrasco, grandfather Ruben Ramirez, aunt Rosa Garcia, and cousins Roxanne Bustos and Juan Manuel Mendez. Services will be held at 11 am on Friday August 19th at Grace Community Church in Johnstown.
