Aaron Wiesner Obituary

Wiesner, Aaron Thomas

Aaron Thomas Wiesner, 25, De Pere, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 28, 2016. He was born January 25, 1991 in Green Bay, son to Michael and Mary (Dorner) Wiesner. Aaron graduated from East De Pere High School, attended UWGB, and graduated from NWTC in Accounting. He recently moved to New Richmond, WI, where he was employed by Coca Cola (out of Eagan, MN), excelling in sales.

Aaron was very involved in scouting achieving the rank of 'Life Scout'. Scouting is where he developed his passion for shooting sports and was one of the youngest scouts to achieve the "NRA Expert Marksman" medal. He was an avid trap shooter and was an active member of the De Pere Sportsman Club, winning several league trophies. He enjoyed cooking, trying new things, car shows, Road America, Indy Car races, brewing beer with his friends, traveling, and loved having a good conversation about anything—family and friends were the most important thing to him. Aaron was a hard worker and was passionate about anything he did—he will be truly missed.

He will be deeply missed by his parents, Mike and Mary; three siblings: Andrew (Heather) Wiesner, Matthew Wiesner, and Casey Wiesner; paternal grandmother, Lorraine "Dolly" Wiesner; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Aaron was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Earl Wiesner; maternal grandparents, Clem and Gerry Dorner; and an aunt, Cindy Wiesner.

Family and friends may visit Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., Green Bay, on Friday, July 1, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., where the evening will conclude with a Parish Prayer Service. Visitation will continue on Saturday at Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Hilltop Drive, from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 10:30 a.m., with Bishop Robert Morneau officiating. Entombment will be in Allouez Catholic Mausoleum.

I am very truly sorry for your loss. I graduated high school with Aaron and had many classes/projects with him. We hung out from time to time but have lost touch over the years since I have moved to a different state. He was a very bright young man, his memory will live on in all of us. I send my prayers.

God bless,
Lora Hein (Carmody)
