I will remember Carol as the sweet girl in the pretty yellow dress. Our family came home one spring day, maybe a Sunday after church...maybe even Easter...and this girl in a pretty yellow dress was swinging on our swingset. I walked out to say hi and learned her name was Carol. We were probably like 5 years old...she would have been a year or so younger than me. She was a friend for many years until the Grosskopf family moved away. She had the neighborhood record for most bumblebees simultaneously caught in a single small mustard jar...in one day. It was 27 or 29 bumblebees. She always released them at the end of the day. She was pretty much fearless back then...
I´m very sorry for your family´s loss.
