Catherine Robinson Obituary

Catherine M. Robinson

Ledgeview - Daughter to Jim and Rosie Cuene. A beloved daughter, Cathy enjoyed an especially close relationship with her parents, always turning to them for advice, support, love and friendship, while from a very young age, always looking for ways to be of service to them. She felt especially fortunate to have been able to, along with her siblings, care for their mother at home and be by her side when Rosie passed away from cancer.

Sister to Kristin, Lori, Casey, and Jim Cuene. As she and her siblings spread out across the country after their college careers, Cathy always looked forward to being the catalyst for all to return home to De Pere and providing them a welcoming home for family reunion gatherings. She especially loved reliving childhood memories whenever the siblings got together.

Mother to Matthew (Erica), Eric, Kevin, and Nicklaus Robinson. Supermom Extraordinaire, Cathy always said that her greatest joy was being a Mom. "It's all I ever wanted to be," she often remarked, and what a Mom she was!

Grandmother to Henry. Not yet a year in age, Henry had an eye for his grandma, and she could not wait for any opportunity to smother him with love.

Loving and committed wife to Todd, their friendship endured to her final days.

Cathy's entire life revolved around serving others, preferring to always put others before herself. From the time she was a young girl, helping her mother and grandmothers with the most menial of tasks, to earning her master's degree in Social Work so she could be of service to those in need, to unselfishly giving up her career and devoting herself to her family. Along the way, if anyone needed help, they knew that with one call, Cathy would be there to help out.

A private family service to say goodbye as she leaves this earth to be with her God in Heaven was held recently.

Cathy was a gift. She will be sadly missed, but we are forever grateful to have been graced with her being a part of our lives.

Cathy was always someone I admired. She was very loving and giving and that’s what I tried and try to be with my kids, and her example inspired me to be a better parent.

From the moment I met Cathy,Nov 1990, it dawned on me that my mother Grace, would have been over the moon about Cathy's smile, warmth and sincerity, not to mention her natural beauty. After all, Grace Blindauer Robinson was all about a Smile, as all Robinson's learned a sincere smile would do wonders for all our lives ! Cathy brightened our lives and brought us into a Union with the Cuene family, where openness and sincerity also we're legend in our area.Shewill be remembered for the goodness and cheer she brought into everyone's life she touched.May the good Lord bless and keep her in perfect cL
