Daniel Cisler Obituary
Daniel J. Cisler, 67, of Kewaunee, passed away at his apartment on August 29, 2015. He was born April 1, 1948 to the late Joseph and Gertrude Cisler in rural Kewaunee on the family farm. He attended St. Mary's Catholic Grade School in Luxemburg and then attended Kewaunee High School and graduated in 1964. Dan served in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1972, where he attained the rank of Sargent. He then came back to Kewaunee to live with his parents. He enjoyed helping his parents with their yard work, especially their large vegetable garden and chopping firewood.
Dan is survived by four brothers and four sisters: Mary Ann Sayre, Ohio, Hank (Kathy) Cisler, Green Bay, Grace (Bob) Delie, Pulaski, Don Cisler, Florida, Joan Blazer, Florida, Jim (Roseanne) Cisler, Forestville, Greda Evans, Chicago, and Ken Cisler, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Gertrude Cisler, and his brother Lawrence (Lorraine) Cisler.
Private family services will be held.
The family would like to thank Buchanan Funeral Home in Kewaunee for their assistance, and Proko - Wall Funeral Home for assisting the family with arrangements.
