Oconto - Darlene Loraine Cruz age 71 of Pound, passed away on November 27, 2018 with her family by her side. She was born to the late Andrew and Ester (Whiting) Stone on May 19, 1947. She attended Oconto High school after school she married the love of her life Jose Cruz Sr. on February 26, 1965. She held many jobs and she retired from the Oneida Casino. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a passion for Crocheting. She was survived by her loving husband Jose, children Rosita (Wes) Cornelius, Ramon (Fiancé Dolly Wolf) Cruz, Maria (Chris) Roberts, Jose Jr (Trudy) Cruz , Roger (Dawn) Cruz and daughter in law Marana Cruz; Grandchildren Tayna Bender, Amanda Bonner, Jennifer Migel, Tricia Migel, Daniel Migel, Chris Dallas, Joel Cornelius, Erik Cornelius, Shawn Cornelius, Jacob Cruz, Cory Cruz, Chelsi Cruz, Brandon Cruz, Ryan Cruz, Jaden Cruz, Natasha Kelley, Tiffany Delorme, Kirsten Wolf, Nicole Carriveau, Ashley Tousey, Braidon Roberts, Brett Lucas, Catrina Cruz, Joseph Cruz, Haley Cruz, Bryce Jensen, Zoe Cruz, Marlene Cruz, Dakota Cruz, Nathaniel Cruz, Morgan Cruz and Roger Cruz Jr; 31 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son Angelo "Hack Saw" Cruz, 2 brothers Chuck Stone and George Stone. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home on Friday November 30th from 9 - 11:30 AM closing prayers will be at 11:30 AM before going to Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Oconto for Mass at 12 Noon.
